Customers looking to utilize the QLogic Ethernet and 4 Gigabit Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) for IBM BladeCenter (Feature Code #8252) and tg3 driver will have trouble bringing up the network interface when used with PS700, PS701, and PS702 Blade Servers running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.5.
This occurs after a customer runs a "modprobe tg3" and then tries to bring up the network interface.
