Network throughput is less than expected with a VLAN interface on top of a bond or team
Issue
- At boot and after a 'service network restart', VLAN interfaces do not have the expected offloading features enabled if they sit atop a bond or team.
- If a VLAN interface is manually brought down (destroyed) and back up (created) with 'nmcli con up/down' then the recreated VLAN interface has the expected offloading features enabled and the performance is good.
Environment
