How can we monitor Connection Pools, etc in MetaMatrix?

Issue

  • We're are seeing the following error in the MetaMatrix Logs and in the Client Logs:

    com.metamatrix.jdbc.MMSQLException: Unexpected exception processing plan: The connection pool for identity "SingleIdentity: atomic-request=34443.469.2.1834873" exceeded wait time for connection, "120,000" ms, and no connection became available in the timeout period. Consider increasing the number of connections allowed per identity or the wait time.

  • How can we monitor the connection pool and trap the error ? 

Environment

  • MetaMatrix Enterprise Server 5.5.3 and above
  • JBoss Operations Network(JON) 2.3.x
