Windows2003 server can't be installed as a guest OS on RHEL 6.0 KVM host

Issue

We attempted to install Windows2003 server as a guest OS on a RHEL 6.0 KVM host. Although the installation was able to get started, the following error message was reported after the guest OS restarted.

A disk read error occurred
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart
```
