Why does Master of `SAPHana` failover when hana_sid_roles value `124:P::::` is detected?

Issue

  • An unexpected failover of the SAP Hana resource in a Pacemaker cluster happened suddenly
  • Why the SAPHana resource failed over between the nodes suddenly if there are no problems reported on the server?

  • Why when value forhana_sid_roles attribute changed to 124:P::::, then SAPHana resource shortly after failover to another node?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 with High-Availability Add-on
  • running pacemaker cluster with SAPHana and SAPHanaTopology resources
  • SAPHana resource has attribute PREFER_SITE_TAKEOVER=true
