Is there a way to have one cluster service "follow" another, or require they be co-located, in RHEL 5 or 6?
Issue
- When using cluster service dependencies, if we try to relocate the dependency then the dependent service does not follow it, but is instead restarted in place (not as expected).
- Can I configure two cluster services, such that if one relocates, the other will relocate to the same node?
- How can I configure co-located services in a cluster?
- I would like to implement colocation with rgmanager.
- Is it possible to configure Red Hat Service groups such that they always run together on the same cluster node?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
- Two or more services in
/etc/cluster/cluster.conf
