New content host is being registered to Red Hat Satellite 6 with a different hostname than expected

Issue

  • system2.example.com is being registered as system1.example.com on the Red Hat Satellite 6 Web UI
  • Under Hosts -> Content Hosts, unable to find system2.example.com
  • Re-registration fails with error
Required lock: update
Conflicts with tasks:
- https://satellite.example.com/foreman_tasks/tasks/bc12476-c818-4f52-a952-47b6b54c7c61
