  • docker service gets unexpectedly stopped of restarted by systemd. A message like this may be logged to the journal.

-- if docker service fails to stop cleanly, service is forcefully killed

May 12 13:23:55 test docker.service: main process exited, code=killed, status=9/KILL

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
  • OpenShift Container Platform 3.x
  • docker version lower than 1.13.1-70.gitdded712.el7
  • docker version lower than 1.12.6-74.gitea607ce.el7_4
