Why is a remote WSRP portlet not shown in the list of remote portlets

Issue

  • A portlet works fine on a local JBoss portal, even a consumer of this portlet can be registered on a remote JBoss portal but this portlet is not shown in the list of remote portlets. What could be causing this?
  • The portlet already contains:
<container-runtime-option>
    <name>org.gatein.pc.remotable</name>
    <value>true</value>
</container-runtime-option>
