Sudo access is not working for user from AD provider on RHEL 7.5

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

This issue was observed in an environment with the Active directory provider for identity and authentication. Note that this issue may be experienced with other providers. The sudoUser attribute in a sudoRule may become case sensitive in certain cases. Providing a sudoUser attribute in the correct case results in the sudoRule matching for the user and the user being able to sudo.
