v7 does not recognize virtual floppy device

Issue

  • v7 hardware certification program does not  correctly recognize virtual floppy device.
  • As  a result, hardware certification program fails for the virtual  floppy device with the following error.
    ----test device is sdh----
    *** Testing buffered filesystem (ext3) performance on sdh
     Error: mount sdh failed.
     ...finished running ./storage.py, exit code=1
  • The virtual floppy device seems to be  recognized as a storage device.
    storage    sda        storage_serial_3600605b0016181c0ff00009f099f01a2
    storage    sdg        storage_serial_20030138428320000     
    storage    sdh        storage_serial_AMI_Virtual_Floppy

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 x86_64
