OpenShift installation with CRI-O fails in disconnected environment

Issue

  • With CRI-O as runtime, running OpenShift installer playbook in disconnected environment fails while deploying pods with below error:
Failed create pod sandbox: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = error creating pod sandbox with name "k8s_webconsole-7799fb78b8-wx2w2_openshift-web-console_ee8f2424-75dc-11e8-8a82-002dd7000004_0": Error determining manifest MIME type for docker://kubernetes/pause:latest: pinging docker registry returned: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: dial tcp: lookup registry-1.docker.io on 10.53.139.1:53: no such host
  • CRI-O is trying to pull kubernetes/pause image from docker.io registry.
  • How to change pause image from kubernetes/pause to openshift3/ose-pod for CRI-0.
