Issue

  • When using NFS mount with '-o vers=3' option in rescue mode, the mount command failed. How can I resolve this? I got following message when the mount command executed.
bash-4.1# mount -t nfs -o vers=3 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:/sample/nfs /mnt/nfs
mount.nfs: rpc.stad is not running but is required for remote locking.
mount.nfs:Either use '-o nolock' to keep locks local, or start statd.
mount.nfs:mounting XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:/sample/nfs failed, reason given by server :No such file or directory
