Neither 'pvs' nor 'pvdisplay' reflect the current size of an expanded whole disk
Issue
- After using the dd command to migrate data to another disk(such as /dev/sdb), how to extend the PV to use the whole device space.
- For example:
- The old disk has 10G, and the new one has 20G. After run dd command, the pv size which is on the is still 10G.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Physical Volume ( LVM )
