Spam of mountd mount/umount in /var/log/messages

Issue

  • There are a lot of mount/umount messages in the /var/log/messages file thus filling up the /var file system pretty fast. All these messages are for NFS shared file systems.
Apr  4 14:45:02 server mountd[17531]: authenticated mount request from 192.168.0.4:674 for /export/test (/export/test)
Apr  4 14:45:02 server mountd[17531]: authenticated mount request from 192.168.0.4:679 for /export/test/test1 (/export/test)
