VLAN over Bond causes a system hang on reboot with certain QLogic NICs
Issue
- System hangs on reboot when VLAN over bond is created on Qlogic cards.
reboothangs on "unregister_netdevice: waiting for p2p2 to become free. Usage count = 2"
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5
- Kernel version kernel-3.10.0-862.el7
- QLogic 25GE 2P QL41262 Adapter
- Two physical interfaces bonded together
- Tagged VLAN over bond
