Why does slideshow screensaver in gnome crash on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 ?
Issue
- Whenever Cosmos or Pictures folder screensavers are invoked, slideshow segfaults & drops a core file in people's home dir.
- User sees the below error messages in /var/log/messages file
Jun 18 09:50:32 hostname1 kernel: gnome-screensav[2274]: segfault at 0000000000000000 rip 0000003a2c097210 rsp 00007fffaea93af0 error
