[RHEV] Pressing power button causes VM hang when accessing through user portal

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • A RHEL 5.5 desktop  accessing through the user portal .

  • After  logging in the desktop and come back to the user portal and press the power button to switch it off.

  • The logout prompt is display in the session but it looks like the system hangs.

  • If  we repress the stop button, it destroys the VM.

Environment

  •      Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 2.1

  •      Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 2.2 Beta
