Why do I have messages in HornetQ that stay forever in the delivering state?
Issue
In our production and pre-production systems we have observed the following behaviour:
JMS Messages stay in the delivering state and are not consumed until we restart the servers.
The consumer is a MDB 2.1 but we never enter in the logic of the MDB.
Once this situation happens, then the number of messages increase over time until we re-boot.
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
- 5.1.2
- HornetQ
- 2.2.24_JBPAPP-10611
- Microsoft Windows Server
- 2008
