Service fails instead of failing over with xfs filesystems on Red Hat High Availability cluster

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • The xfs file system resource has self-fence="1" set for recovery because xfs fs processing always fails.
  • The service can not succeed at failover and the service did not start normally at failover's node side. I think the unmount of xfs file system is the main reason of failure.
  • Why doesn't the xfs file system resource mount successfully after failover, and how can I unmount xfs sharing device?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability Add on)
  • rgmanager managing cluster resources
    • Service contains an xfs filesystem resource
    • Service has a script resource, and the script resource opens files on the filesystem resource
