Does OpenShift Metrics require HTTPS?

Issue

  • I can't hit the metrics url:
# oc get route
NAME               HOST/PORT                                PATH    SERVICES           PORT      TERMINATION   WILDCARD
hawkular-metrics   metrics.app.example.com                          hawkular-metrics   <all>     reencrypt     None

# host metrics.app.example.com
Host metrics.app.example.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
