Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • In Red Hat Virtualization, Whenever an I/O error occurs in a host (ie, a storage domain is lost) VMs are paused and a manual operation is required to restart the VM and let Highly Available VM start it in another host. Required a policy for Highly Available VMs to pause, stop, restart, whenever I/O errors occur on host instead of pausing them directly.

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization 4.1
