Does JBoss SOA-P support Picketlink 2.1.5 shipped with JBoss EAP 5.2 ?

Issue

  • When deploying Picketlink quickstart exmple IDP.war in JBOSS EAP 5.2 which is shipped with JBoss SOA-P 5.3.1 the user gets the following exception:-
15:47:43,226 ERROR [StandardContext] Context [/idp] startup failed due to previous errors
java.lang.RuntimeException: /WEB-INF/picketlink-idfed.xml missing
    at org.picketlink.identity.federation.bindings.tomcat.idp.IDPWebBrowserSSOValve.start(IDPWebBrowserSSOValve.java:881)
    at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardPipeline.start(StandardPipeline.java:235)
    at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.start(StandardContext.java:4304)
        ...
  • This raises the question whether the JBoss SOA-P 5.3.1 supports PICKETLINK 2.1.5 shipped with JBoss EAP 5.2.
