How to access application database in a custom WorkItemHandler in BPM Suite on Tomcat

Issue

  • Can we access DataSource in a custom WorkItemHander in Tomcat or we have to bind database in old java style db connectivity ? I mean each workitemhandler would open a connection read and close it given db url and credentials?
