The Red Hat Directory Server may, under some scenarios, resulting in outages due to memory exhaustion or low order page exhaustion.

Example scenario:
4 replicas, 16GB RAM, 2GB swap, entry cache size set to 512M for userRoot, and 10M NetscapeRoot, unspecified number of entries in db, unspecified db size

Replica's could be running just fine for months, and then oom events could be encountered. Sometimes this appears to occur repeatedly.

We note "many" ldapmodify requests in comparison to the configured cachememsize, regardless of whether the entries fill the cache or not.
