[Satellite 6] Missing derived SKU of Oracle Java Add-On (Unlimited Virtual Nodes) in Satellite WebUI

Issue

  • How to import all subscriptions using foreman-rake console ?

  • How to use Oracle Java Unlimited subscription?

  • After attaching Oracle Java Add-On (Unlimited Virtual Nodes) to hypervisor, couldn't find Derived SKU in Satellite WebUI to use it with activation key/ bulk action to attach to content-hosts.

Resolution

  • Execute following command to import all subscriptions
#foreman-rake console
User.current = User.where(admin: true).first
Katello::Subscription.import_all
Katello::Pool.import_all
exit
  • After attaching the Oracle Java add-on Unlimited subscription to the Hypervisor Host, restart the virt-who service this will unlock the Oracle Java derived SKU to get the unlimited subscription.
