I want to use RHV template versioning for automated patch management
Issue
- RHV allows multiple versions of templates.
- After creating a new template version, new VMs based on the template will use the updated template.
- Existing VMs based on the template continue to use the original template.
- I want existing VMs to switch to the updated template instead of continuing with the original template.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.y
- Red Hat Virtualization 4.y
