After pushing packages in a custom channel, why cache is not created for the channel on RHN Satellite ?

Issue

  • After we upload a package to a custom config channel using either rhnpush or the web gui, and after the package is on the channel it can be seen on the channel but can't be retrieved on a client system that wants to install the package.
  • After creating a custom channel, its cache is not created on RHN Satellite. Which process generates it?
