I need to configure LDAP to only allow specific groups to login to the web console and CLI

Issue

  • Current OCP 3.5 cluster allows anyone to login to the web console and CLI with proper authentication
  • Need to be able to restrict access to only certain LDAP groups
  • How to prevent users that are not part of certain LDAP groups from authenticating and logging in

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
    • 3.4, 3.5, 3.6
