After upgrade to RHEL 6.9 nfsclient resource fails with 'rgmanager recover on nfsclient "xxxxx" returned 1 (generic error)'
Issue
After upgrade to RHEL 6.9 the messages below can be observed in the cluster logs and the cluster service fails to start/relocate to the RHEL 6.9 node. There were no configuration changes in the cluster and the same scenario worked in RHEL 6.8.
Removing export: somehost:/path/to/export
rgmanager recover on nfsclient "xxxxx" returned 1 (generic error)
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux with High-Availability or Resilient Storage Add-on running cluster with
rgmanager nfsclientcluster resourcenfs-utils-1:1.2.3-75.el6
