CUPS update overwrites /usr/share/cups/mime/mime.types

Issue

We did our quarterly patching and updated CUPS. This appears to have overwritten our modified /usr/share/cups/mime/mime.types file. Is this expected behavior? If we want to make modifications to mime.types, how should we go about doing this to prevent future overwrites and losing the customizations.
