Fluentd stopped collecting logs after upgrade to RHEL 7.4

Issue

After upgrading to RHEL 7.4, Fluentd pods are showing the following error and no logs are sent to Elasticsearch:

umount: /var/lib/docker/containers/02f45678b6251443d593d5e94c5a5647d8c64f44399f45288cc9237d50872630/shm: not mounted

Docker 1.12.6
