Newly added OpenStack nodes won't connect to RabbitMQ service on controller

Issue

After adding the new nodes (e.g., computes) to the existing OSP environment, they fail to communicate properly with RabbitMQ server on controller nodes. RabbitMQ log on server side contains the following errors:

accepting AMQP connection <0.27152.191> (172.16.108.62:35244 -> 172.16.108.10:5672)

While the client shows errors like this:

2017-08-11 08:34:23.738 45630 ERROR oslo.messaging._drivers.impl_rabbit [-] [cef4a806-cd8b-41d9-964b-e2c802cbad4b] AMQP server 172.16.108.10:5672 closed the connection. Check login credentials: Socket closed
