Fuse 6.3 How to handle Service Endpoints in a Database

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

Given the following scenario: In an environment many (>1000) ftp endpoints both inbound and outbound need to be connected with Camel.
It would be desirable to configure (create, update, delete) those FTP endpoints in a database table (with all its properties) because of the following advantages.

  • it gives better overview because you can use sql
  • it is easier to maintain
  • you can easily track the changes on the endpoints.

How can this approach be implemented using JBoss Fuse 6.3/Camel?
