Issue

  • Incorrect finger -s output formatting for users logged in from remote location or X terminal
  • finger does not print information in a very  correct format when it is invoked with -s on a user that has either  logged in via ssh or through xterm.
  • It replaces the gecos information  with host from which the user has logged in.
  • In case of X, it  replaces the gecos information with the display number.
