Issue

  • GFS1 error after storage extension:
attempt to access beyond end of device
  • GFS or GFS2 file system withdrawls after extending a logical volume

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 with the Resilient Storage Add On, prior to Update 5
    • lvm2-cluster prior to release 2.02.56-7.el5

  • Volume groups with the clustered ('c') flag set
