clustered volumes are skipped when halvm is in use

Issue

It looks like the Cluster manager checks the resources every hour , we had an issue with a volume-group, which caused a problem with the cluster (the issue was clvmd terminated)

Question #1:

I'm looking at /var/log/messages and it seems at every hour it gets a resource status . Why it so?
