Is software RAID supported for configuring Quorum Disk(qdisk) in Red Hat Cluster Suite?

Issue

  • Qdiskd is not starting since it can not find the disk. cluster.conf is configured to select by label: myquorum disk. This disk is set on a software RAID partition.
  • mkdisk -L is not able to find the disk and is not listing the disk, why?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6
  • Red Hat Cluster Suite 4/5
  • Quorum Disk(QDdisk)
  • Sofware RAID(Managed by mdadm)
