Can I comment out the <distributable/> tag within portal.war?
Issue
What could be the potential side effects of commenting out <distributable> tag of portal.war? We have noticed a serious performance improvement in our application when commenting out the <distributable> tag of the portal.war.
- our configuration is a domain but we do not need any session replication.
- all the custom portlets deployed within the portal do not contain a
<distributable>tag,
