"ORA-00210: cannot open the specified control file" when starting Oracle from GFS2 file system on Red Hat High Availibility Cluster
Issue
- Having problems starting some of the databases mounted on the GFS2 file system due to the control files being in-use:

Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
- 2 or more nodes in Red Hat High Availability Cluster
- Oracle Database managed by Red Hat High Availability cluster
- Observed on orainstance.sh resource script, but it is currently unknown if oracledb.sh resource script is also affected.
- The Oracle database control file is located on a GFS2 filesystem.
