Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 System Hangs on udev During Reboot for About 45-60 minutes
Issue
- Repartitioned majority of the disks under powerpath.
- Removed them from Oracle asm and added them back.
- Errors reported to console.
Starting udev: udevd-event[xxxxx]: wait_for_sysfs: waiting for '/sys/devices/0000:00/0000:00:00.0/0000:00:00.0/hostX/rport-X:0-X/targetX:X:X/X:X:X:XX/ioerr_cnt' failed
- high %cpu by hald daemon after we are able to login
