fencing of a cluster node fails, with fenced only reporting "error from agent" in RHEL 6
Issue
- Fencing fails without reporting any specific error:
Jan 27 11:46:04 fenced fencing node node2.example.com
Jan 27 11:46:05 fenced fence node2.example.com dev 0.0 agent fence_cisco_ucs result: error from agent
Jan 27 11:46:05 fenced fence node2.example.com failed
- How can I determine the actual error being produced by a fence agent referenced by the "error from agent" message I see in my logs?
