ImageMagick's "convert" produces a blank Postscript page size when "-page" option is used on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Issue
- When using the command line option
-page
withconvert
on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 to produce a PostScript file, the resulting document may be blank page with no content visible. - The command
convert
may create Postscript files that cannot be printed or displayed. -
The
convert
command on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 machine may create a non-printable postscript file while a proper printable file is created on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8. The version ofImageMagick
on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 is 6.2.8.0-4.el5_1.1 while its 6.0.7.1-20.el4 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8. When using the option-page
with a geometry parameter instead of a media, the output file is correct. The documentation of the option-page
