Why RHEL 7 system's network interfaces does not come up post reboot ?
Issue
- RHEL7 system's interface fails to come UP on boot. No error is seen at the time of boot nor in booting logs.
- Trying to bring UP interfaces using
ifupwill result in inconsistency or interface still may not come UP. - Checked and verified that
ONBOOTis set to 'yes' in all the configuration files.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
- initscripts version less than initscripts-9.49.39-1.el7
