How to set Connection timeout when using camel-http

Issue

In our camel route, we are using camel-http component to connect to external service over http protocol. We are getting the below exception.

08:49:31,980 INFO  [org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector] I/O exception (java.net.ConnectException) caught when processing request: Connection timed out (Connection timed out)
08:49:31,980 INFO  [org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector] Retrying request
