Automatic large-object cleanup for PostgreSQL in JBoss BPM Suite 6
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite (BPMS) 6
- PostgreSQL 9.2, 8.4
- PostgreSQL client application which uses Binary Large Object (BLOB) data types
Issue
When BPMS is used with PostgreSQL, orphaned large objects are left in pg_largeobject table. So users have to run manual operations to clean up orphaned large-object periodically.
Resolution
Request for feature enhancement (PRODMGT-1672) has been submitted for consideration for a future release of the JBoss BPM Suite. The request is to provide an automatic large-object cleanup for PostgreSQL. If you require this feature or additional information on this request, please contact Red Hat Global Support Services.
As a workaround please refers to PostgreSQL pg_largeobject table still contains deleted objects in BPMS.
