How can I configure fence_vmware_soap to use a TLS connection rather than a less secure SSL connection in a RHEL High Availability cluster?

Issue

  • fence_vwmare_soap is working with the -z / --ssl / ssl=1 option, but I want it to use TLS instead of SSL.
  • How do I configure fence_vmware_soap to use TLS to connect to vCenter?
  • I don't want fence_vmware_soap to use SSL 3.0

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, or 7 with the High Availability Add On
  • fence_vmware_soap
