Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
Issue
How to create LVM in anaconda when installing system ?
Resolution
Follow the steps below:
Step 1
Choose "Create custom layout"
Step 2
Choose the partition you want to use for Physical Volume . For example I choose xvda2 .
Step 3
Click "LVM" button to manage the LVM
Step 4
You can assign your Volume Group's name and create Logical Volume here just click "Add" button .
Step 5
For example, create the Logical Volume for root filesystem .
Step 6
Click "OK" then back to partition view .
Step 7
Click "continue" to continue the installiation process .
