ethtool Cannot get current device settings: Operation not supported in VMWare VM
Issue
RHEL 5.2 VMware ESX 4 VM で ethtool を使用して NIC スピードを設定するとエラーになります。Ethtool のバージョンは最新の 6-4 です。
# ethtool -s eth0 speed 100
Cannot get current device settings:Operation not supported
not setting speed
