How to test an IdM upgrade in a disconnected environment
Issue
An Identity Management environment can be migrated from a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 system to a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 system. Sometimes it's desirable to test the upgrade procedure in a disconnected environment so that issues, that might show up during the upgrade, don't affect the production setup. The solution outlined here gives some instructions how a new IdM replica can be created, configured and disconnected from the remaining environment. The upgrade can then be performed based on this disconnected replica.
